Since opening our doors in 1968, D.C. Law Students in Court has provided free and low-cost legal services to poor and indigent people in the Nation’s Capital. We accomplish this vital work by pairing bright, passionate law students with seasoned supervising attorneys who offer guidance and instruction while our students “fight” for their clients.
This model has proven remarkably impactful over the years: we’ve helped thousands of vulnerable and underserved men and women evade illegal evictions and combat unjust prosecutions while transforming hundreds of passionate student advocates, interns, and volunteers into the world’s next generation of social justice warriors.
Please make a pledge in tribute of our remarkable '18 honorees. We appreciate your friendship and support.
